We are an educational initiative bringing together history educators and youth workers from all over Europe to develop new educational resources to help young people explore European history and heritage through the lens of football, and use football to tackle social exclusion.

Italy became World Champion Football in it’s own country in 1934. The selection included some players who were born in South America. A term for that type of player is oriundo. Oriundi acquired Italian citizenship and Italianized their name, especially under the fascist Regime.
