It’s always fun to meet colleagues on the road and was delighted to see the ever wonderful ⁦Beatrice Rana⁩ last night popping in to say hello. She’ll be performing Rachmaninoff’s 2nd Concerto 3 times at ⁦Carnegie Hall⁩ 12-14 April…do go!

Concert No.7. What an unforgettable night in ⁦Carnegie Hall⁩! Just fantastic to return to this iconic and very beautiful venue as part of our 40year collaboration. Treasured memories were made. Next stop Philadelphia! Yo-Yo Ma

Couldn’t be happier to see 6 of my wonderful friends who have all flown over from the UK for the concert at ⁦Carnegie Hall⁩ tomorrow night with ⁦Yo-Yo Ma⁩. It means the world that they will be there.

It’s a beautiful morning here in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Enjoying the sunshine and getting my steps in around Harvard University ahead of Concert No.6 in fabulous Symphony Hall, Boston with ⁦Yo-Yo Ma⁩.

Apart from the night my darling pooch Archie passed over the rainbow, I’ve been on a 6 month dry challenge. This is my first dry tour EVER! So, it’s a NOgroni for me tonight. I look forward to the real deal later in June.

Could this hall be any more beautiful? So happy to be back in this gorgeous space again and looking forwards to concert No.5 of our tour coming up this afternoon. Sonatas by Shostakovich and Franck, pieces by Fauré, Dvorak, Assad, Boulanger and Pärt. ⁦Yo-Yo Ma⁩

Concert No.4. Thank you to everyone at ⁦Krannert Center⁩ for taking such good care of us today and for such attentive audience. Was only a fleeting visit to Champaign Urbana and now heading back to Chicago ready for the matinee performance tomorrow. ⁦Yo-Yo Ma⁩

Quick walk in Chicago to catch some gorgeous light and chilly fresh air, before the drive to Champaign Urbana and our concert at ⁦Krannert Center⁩ tonight.

End of a heavy day travelling, recording, filming and performing a concert. Great to play in relatively new ⁦McKnight Center⁩ and also have the concert broadcast on an outside screen for those wanting a picnic. Will sleep well tonight that’s for sure! 🥱 ⁦Yo-Yo Ma⁩

Dramatic light in Santa Monica. So good to take in some sea air and have a long walk. The next days on this tour are very busy!
