30.4 miles was the total at the end of today’s walk & I think this face sums up quite how I felt when I finished. Quite achy!

The walk, though, was incredible - beautiful bluebells, Boer War history, friendly sheep and much more!

Boosting the mood (and the fitness) with a nice countrywide walk. The bluebells are out in force and it’s stunning!

How times change! But it was an awesome chat, and genuinely springboarded us on to so much!

Phys session today was a single, solitary mile run. It’s all I could realistically fit in between other commitments.

I’d say ‘slowly slowly catchy monkey’ but honestly, I’m just hoping the monkey gets bored and rolls over at this point.

Another day of people incorrectly spelling my name.

It’s particularly infuriating in response to emails I have sent.

My name is not ‘Katie’ and nor is it ‘Kathy’. Addressing people incorrectly is just so utterly disrespectful, and yet so easily avoided.

Two years with this one today.

I suppose he’ll do.

Being kind to yourself is one of the hardest parts of growth. It’s so much easier to be super self-critical.

I wanted to go for a run today but it was cold and rainy so, instead, went to the gym for an hour.

I still did phys, even if it wasn’t the plan. It’s still good enough!

After a busy day yesterday of chatting to young women at the @rafbenson ‘See What You Can Be’ event, the evening was spent at the Women’s Network Dinner.

It’s always lovely to dress up, though the impostor syndrome was strong - so many incredible women there & I am just a pilot!

An afternoon exploring Bletchley Park Bletchley Park was well worth it.

I’ve been a few times over the years and the development of the museum is astounding. Such inspiring stories of genuine intellect & bravery too.
