I think the Gorillaz Art Book era still has plenty of really good gritty/grungy Murdoc pieces. Like early Humanz, I think when Jamie isn't restricted to album cycles/marketing timelines/having to stick to the tone of the music, he makes some of his best work

Zelda Williams (the daughter of the great Robin Williams) sure had a lot to say about the “Studio Ghibli style” AI images that have been trending recently. I think those people should read these posts and really think about what they’re doing.

This studio gibhli stuff is so depressing. It seems that there’s a new breed of ‘artist’ that invests absolutely nothing into their creative process. You can’t type a string of words into a prompt a couple of times and pretend it’s an artistic process.

It feels like yesterday that the Squid Research Lab began studying the ecology of the Inkling, but if our calendar is correct, it's been ten years! We here at the lab will continue our research on these amazing creatures, and we hope you'll keep forging ahead with us. Thank you!
