Junior doctors are allowed to go on strike and then cash in by taking on shifts at other trusts. This is absolutely insane and should be banned. That really is holding the country to ransom.

Fleet Street used to be far more "diverse". It's easy: hire from agencies & NCTJ courses, send people on jobs, let them get stories & do well. Stop pretending journalism is a graduate profession that requires an MA. It isn't. Doesn't need schemes /targets / ponderous thoughts.
