My dad said “I heard you won a contest”. I didn’t, I got a new job. But the fact that he remembered there was something to celebrate… it means a lot to me. Dementia is hard for everyone. Make the most of little things bc you never know when they’ll be forgotten.

This was an emotionally taxing day from start to finish and I feel so alone 😩

What a stressful week. V thankful for friends who are family who came through with the heart to hearts, food and medication drop offs/deliveries, and daily check ins. I wish I could say I’m back to normal, but I’m not.. and that’s ok. I got the best people on my side ✨
