I have been going through so many emotions lately, since walking out of my marriage. Many have been negative...anger, frustration, rage, among others. I hate that it took so long for me to figure things out and do something about it. Not sure how to move forward at the moment...

#TransDayOfVisibility #TransDayOfVisibility2023 It has been 15 months since I came out, and just over 1 week since I have been able to truly begin feeling like my authentic self. While I am not out everywhere, I am learning how to be happy with who I am.

Had the most amazing day yesterday! Took a huge step and went out in public as Kassandra for the first time ever. Nervous doesn't even begin to describe how I felt at first... Once I got past that, I was able to enjoy the time out!

Still trying to understand this. In talking with a family member on Sunday, I was informed that my former pastor (CRCNA) has taken the stance that my wife turned me trans. He believes that since I'm now out of the abusive relationship, I will start feeling more manly once again.

I have been trying to not watch too much #crcsynod this year. There is so much hurt in the decisions that have been made. It is clear that I will not be returning to a church that I have spent nearly my entire life at. Thank you En Vivo Church for welcoming me as I am.

Took a bit of time away. I am still amid a divorce, but aside from that things have been going well! After receiving a promotion at work, into an office job, HR has invited me to begin going by Kassie (on non-legal documents). Feels so good to let the true me out more often.

Spending Christmas alone this year. I have family in the area, but I can't be my true self around them. I would rather spend the day alone, instead of having to be someone I'm not. As hard as it is to be alone on Christmas, I look back at 2023 and see how far I've come. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Decided to take another big step today. Filed all the paperwork needed to begin the (pain in the butt) process to legally become Kassandra. Depending on certain decisions that the judge will make, it should be complete by the end of September...if not sooner.
