I wonder about this too. Lee Morgan recorded Gaza Strip on Nov. 4, 1956, on the Indeed session. Owen Marshall wrote it. Kahn Yunis massacre happened Nov 3, Kafr Quasim Oct 29. Did Owen compose it after this or was it an older composition?

This wildly misleading tweet, and the mostly hateful replies, is like entering an alternate version of reality. If anybody is interested in the truth behind this claim, and what that Swedish poll actually asked, I'll go through it. Probably banging my head against a wall. 😂

I Called Him Morgan is one the great music docs of all-time. You don’t have to like jazz - if you like music and exceptional story telling I can’t recommend it enough. It’s stunning.

RIP Sven-Åke Johansson, drum legend from Mariestad, Sweden. Thank you for the music. He participated on classic albums such as Brötzmann’s Machine Gun and For Adolpe Sax, my favourite with him (I do love solo drumming albums) is Schlingerland / Dynamische Schwingungen (SÅJ 1972).
