Students really enjoyed doing some math with jellybeans. Students each got a cup of jelly beach and they had to graph how many of each color they had. There sure were a lot of black jellybeans in the bunch!

Halloween was fun today in my class. Students read Room on The Broom. Then they had to create a broom to fit all of their characters. Each group was given different supplies to work with. Students had to talk their idea out first before making. Play dough was a big success

After reading the story Abuelita’s Secret with our Benchmark program, my students learned to overcome their fears and think about what they enjoy. So my students brought in items from home that represent things that are their favorite. For example, pictures of family, toys, food.
