Tomorrow, on Youth Day, we launch Peacevent, a transformative 15-week program to 'invent peace.' Featuring inspiring addresses from a celebrated jurist, global peace leaders, and young peace-building innovators. #YouthForChange #PeaceBuilding #FutureOfPeace #Peaceeducation

On #NationalYouthDay,we launched a 15-week hybrid program, empowering 50 young leaders from Kashmir in peacebuilding, leadership and universal right to development. The program was inaugurated with inspiring insights from global peacebuilder Barbara Winston and Justice Katju.

Last week, we conducted a Peace Leadership Training at a women’s college in Kerala, India, along with an interactive session on Irenology. Using the Euphrates Institute’s framework, we explored practical approaches to peacebuilding with inspiring postgraduate students.

We've successfully concluded the four fundamental Peace Practice sessions, facilitated by James Offuh an esteemed international trainer from Ivory Coast. Moving forward, we’ll begin practical modules like Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to deepen our peacebuilding efforts.

On February 23, 2025, we had an insightful session with Oshan M. Gunathilake, a Peace Education & Development Practitioner from Sri Lanka, on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and the strategic nonviolent approach to peace-building.

We wrapped up the in-person segment of the 15-week Peacevent program, bringing together 50 Kashmiri youth leaders to engage in leadership, dialogue & development rights. A day of reflection, discussions & a Kashmiri Iftaar—more updates soon!

We were honored to host Javid Rahimli, LLM (Oxford), for our Peacevent session on 'The Right to Return Under International Law'. He explored global crises & legal frameworks while linking displacement to the Right to Development. A truly insightful discussion! #HumanRights
