The thought of bringing Mom to life if only for 5 secs compelled me to try. So here, via a b/w photo of her taken in the 1940s when she was in her mid-20s, & tinted by her, is Mom, emerging for a brief but beautiful moment from the shadows of the past into the sunlight of today.
