Mitch Marner is a Toronto kid who should have had a banner hanging in the rafters and his name all over the Leafs’ record books. Instead, he squeezed the organization for every last cent, never showed up when it mattered, and got booed off the ice in his final game as a Leaf.

Mitch Marner could have had the city of Toronto in the palm of his hand for life. All he had to do was work his tail off, be accountable, and maybe take a slight pay cut one (1) time. He didn’t even have to win. So many others have figured it out. He and his team fought it.
