The all Odisha Elephant census 2024 has revealed minimum of 2098 elephants in 38 Forest Divisions of the state. This is 122 more than the last census done in 2017. The population is almost stable with a M:F ratio of 1:2.17.Presence of 594 juveniles & calf has brought ample joy.
