One thing I actually liked what Stan Bowman did with the hawks was to bring talent from europe. (Panarin, Lankinen, Kubalik, Suter, Kahun) Some will hit, some will not but there is really no risk involved. Even if you can flip one of those players for a pick I think thats a W.
