If a person, once the period of Hajj has started (after the 1st of Shawwāl), visits Makkah while Hajj is Fardh upon them, and leaves without performing Hajj, it is similar to a person who enters the masjid to offer Sunnah prayers but leaves before performing the Farḍ Ṣalāh!
