I worked, and processed vacation banks and payroll under this same union agreement. You are eligible for 7 weeks vacation after 28 YEARS of uninterrupted employment. You start at 3 weeks. Don't let a lobbyist convince you to hate regular workers. This is what they want.

This take is so unhinged. In the words of Pope Paul VI, "If you want peace, you work for justice." There will be no peace without justice for Palestinians. I have many critiques of the Catholic Church, but Pope Francis' solidarity with Palestinians sends an important message.

Seriously. Billionaires are making bank off our labour, the least we can do is bargain more time off. Casual posties are delivering mail for $19/hr and no benefits. CUPW fights for all of us! #cdnpoli #canlab

If you've ever been on pregnancy or parental leave, visit a @CUPW picket line. We wouldn't have public leave provisions if posties hadn't fought for them first! And don't forget business and the media opposed them the too! #cdnfem #canlab

File an employment standards complaint. Uber Eats couriers are employees applying the normal employee status test. These companies only exist because govt’s permit them to misclassify workers & ignore basic minimum standards. Time for some basic common sense.

Read beyond the headline. "For people looking for an affordable place to live, it's still a battle. The vacancy rate for apartments priced below $1,300 is well below one per cent and turnover remained at a seven-year low." #halifax #housing #affordablehousing

Workers in Halifax help hold the line for CUPW members ordered back to work by the Liberals. The community picket and kept the Halifax sorting facility closed for several hours. Similar actions happened throughout Atlantic Canada. An injury to one is an injury to all!

The ghoulish & depraved unresponse of Canada’s political class & media to #Israel’s now routine attacks on hospitals in #Gaza, indiscriminate slaughter of #Palestinian civilians-toddlers/teens/grandmothers- massacred & starved on an industrial scale, is a stain that won’t go away.

The fact that any politician, organization, faith leader, journalist or individual feels the need to defend this will haunt me for the rest of my days. What's even more terrifying is that they think it's the "principled stance" to take - it really sends shivers down your spine.
