Another FirstAid training with no female CPR units. The trainer said it would be embarrassing to explain female dummies in his car. He also said people are more reluctant to give CPR to women in real life. This shows the need to practise on & not sexualise female form in medicine

It is so important that we as the adult in the room stay in our thinking brain. The very foundation of self-regulation for our students is co-regulation with safe, grounded adults. Knowing when we’re not and tapping out is crucial.

We’ve used Edmodo forums for most of our work, but the highlight has been the chaos of coming together at the end of the day to check in, ask questions, look at pets and play games. #LockdownSA Department for Education SA
