#langchat I really want to understand how Wayside Publishing is going to be. I have to request all my stuff by next week, and all I can see on their website has to do with a textbook.Will it be like Fluency Matters ,with activities? Help!

#langchat formative users: My students are doing their Formative study guides (their final exam is on formative ) and I see one of them toggling between an online translator and Formative. Is there anything that can be done about that?

A3 I get a lot from fellow #langchat teachers, and for places like Billboard Latino so I can keep current with music.

A4 If it’s visual, I usually copy it and add some support words in a text box. If it’s a video, I use screen shots and explain some things before I show it, in simplified language. #langchat

A5 Novices are doing baby-step tasks. They’re almost always freaked out (I teach middle schoolers) They need to see that they ARE able to listen for and hear certain words. #langchat
