BREAKING: The PMC COVID Forecasting Model officially sunsets Biobot. Biobot has not reported public data in 3 weeks, during the height of the surge. They will be downgraded to 0% weight in Monday's case estimation model. CDC data will now account for 100% of case estimation.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams, who has been pushing a mask ban for NYC, has again tested positive for COVID. A timely reminder that now is a good time to wear a mask, and to call your representatives and tell them to speak out against mask bans.

I’ve had a number of people ask me how to avoid Long COVID. I tell them the best way is to avoid COVID (and to avoid repeat infections). 99% say “that’s too hard” and make ZERO changes. If taking precautions is too hard - you’re going to HATE living with Long Covid.

“The dose makes the poison” is a long accepted scientific axiom. One drop in a glass of water won’t kill you, 10 might, 100 definitely will. The same is true for masking. No mask stops 100% of particles from getting through. But the more we can lower the dose, the safer we are!

Umm, hello?? Does anyone see what’s going on? The media and government are manipulating people. Any semblance of public health and reliable journalism are long gone.

3/ Dyssynergic defecation Is by far the most common abnormality I see in POTS Essentially when the pt goes to defecate, instead of relaxing the EAS they do the opposite and contract the EAS. The harder the motion the more the pt noticed this as more effort is required.
