UPDATE!!! K9 Viking is still at Tuft's Veterinary center but his condition continues to improve daily. It is hoped that he may be able to come home next Friday or Saturday as long as there are no setbacks in his progress. Thank you for all the continued support and prayers.

This picture was taken a year ago to support a friend battling cancer. Little did we know that Viking would also fight this disease. Viking is still hospitalized after several setbacks due to infection. He appears to be on the right path and it is hopeful he will be home soon.

Over the last couple months, Viking has endured Cancer, surgeries, infections and over a month of hospitalization. Through it all he has remained the warrior he has alway been. Tonight he came home to continue his recovery. Thank you everyone for you support and prayers.

K9 Viking has been taken off his antibiotics and pain medications and he continues to improve. A small section of incision has yet to completely heal but overall he is doing very well. Thank you to everyone Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine 🐕🐈🐴🐄🦅 for the amazing care given to Viking.

Viking is enjoying Friday night with his favorate toy. Since coming home several weeks ago Viking has improved greatly. We are so grateful to have this guy home and healthy.

K9 Garry and I participated in a two day K9 competition which consisted of classroom lecture, narcotics detection, agility work, building searches and apprehension. This very memorable training was held during the #DreamRideExp Dream Ride event in Farmington CT.

K9 Garry assisted in accepting a very generous donation from the RI State Grange. We accepted the funds on behalf of the RI Police Work Dog Association. The funds donated will directly assist in any future vet bills for K9 Viking. Our deepest gratitude to both organizations.
