A Trough intensifies over the central Caribbean through to the weekend. A Cold Front, now over the western Caribbean, becomes more absorbed in the flow pattern across the Caribbean and brings cloudiness to much of the western Caribbean.

Expect rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm with isolated maxima of 15 to 25 mm, over Jamaica, Wednesday morning through to Thursday morning.

The heaviest rainfall expected is on Thursday through to Friday, as rainfall amounts could exceed 40mm in some isolated areas across Jamaica.

There is a 90% chance of above normal rainfall occurring over Jamaica and the western Caribbean for the next seven days.

A somewhat late-in-the-season Frontal System, increases moisture over the basin for the next three days.
