For the past month, I have been renovating some very old sliding sash windows on a listed building in #Taunton. The windows now look very nice (even if I do say so myself), and are opening and closing smoothly. I've even fitted discreet draught proofing. #Somerset #SashWindows

Bespoke box frames for a replacement sliding sash bay window in Taunton, Somerset. The curved detail on the external casings has been templated to match the contour of the existing decorative sand stone pillars, which support this Victorian bay window.

Existing sliding sash decorative horns have been templated. Time to start cutting and sanding 12 horns for a Victorian bay window that I'm making for my customer in #Taunton, #Somerset.

I did my school work experience week with Stansell Builders (no longer in existence) in 1989. At that time they were a large company with many employees, and had a sizable joinery workshop and yard in South Street. I seen this classic vehicle on my travels yesterday. #Taunton
