having just rewatched anomalisa and moonlight for the first time in years and fallen in love with each all over again, i’m so fucking hyped to see this movie in theaters later today with my friend @shannonjconnors. wish it was playing in more theaters because this shit got dumped

it’s still so so so ironic to me that throughout her entire descent into radical transphobia, JK Rowling’s Twitter bio has been a reference to the fact that she has a literal male alter ego to sell her books lmao

the rehearsal season 2 continues to be the best thing on tv right now. holy fuck episode 3 was hilarious with so much effort put into more than just the writing

nathan fielder managed to make a more entertaining and insightful biopic in 30 minutes than any i’ve ever seen nominated for an oscar

the rehearsal season 2 was incredible. insane, serious, and very profound finale which left me emotional (and still managed to be hilarious at points)

eddington was pretty good but i’m also sad it was JUST pretty good. i love seeing auteur-made dramas in contemporary settings, but on every level the film provided just what i expected. high quality technically with no new perspective.
