Significant tsunami waves appear to be incoming (peak to peak waveheight of 1.5 m) at Toyama sea level station due to M7.5 earthquake near west coast of Japan

Today's M7.8 #earthquake in #Turkey also generated a #tsunami . The tsunami height is 30 cm in Erdemli (see the picture). We expect a maximum tsunami coastal runup of up to around 1.5 m (or 2 m) in some places near the epicenter.
