Christian and Christlike used to be one in the same in the beginning, but today they are extremely far apart. There are Christians who aren’t Christlike and there are ones who are. And there are non-Christians who are Christlike and ones who aren’t. Christlike is my compass.🙏🏾

🚨🏠 Many Americans who bought into the single family dream are house poor. While they could afford it when they bought it… …increases in property taxes, insurance, maintenance, & utilities are taking more of their income. The trend will be toward smaller homes or renting.🙏🏾

Don’t buy a single family right now. Prices to buy and maintain it are too high. The best ways to reduce your housing expense: 1. Live with your parents or a roommate 2. Airbnb an extra room 3. Buy multifamily 4. Downsize (eg. tiny home) 5. Rent when its cheaper than owning

When you buy a single family home 🏠, the principal & interest are fixed for 30 years. But the variable costs that will rise forever include: - property taxes - insurance - maintenance - utilities The variable expenses can be more than the fixed. Many Americans are house poor.
