Kindergarten 5 Senses Stations- loved seeing parents and students learning together!

Starting Urbana Teachers In-Service Day by sending a group of teachers off to further understand local businesses and student preparation needs in our local manufacturing businesses. It’s going to be a great day!

K-3 Teachers are starting the morning with Math PD. This activity focused on developing number sense and mathematical observations. Teachers will also review math curriculum resources, learn about Paul Riccomini strategies, and have time to work on math spiraling.

4th and 5th grade science teachers are getting an introduction to Gizmos. Gizmos is a supplemental science instructional support that is used in 4th-12th grade science classes.

Improving Student Attendance PD- Teachers learning new ideas and coming up with plans for improvement within their classrooms and across their grade band.

4-12th grade Math PD. Teachers are Paul Riccomini strategies- this SLOT activity helps with developing long term memory in math- very important

Breakout Math PD- helping teachers new to teaching math get the guidance they need from teachers who have curriculum experience

AI Teaching Tools PD- so much to learn!

Supporting Students in Crisis PD- finding additional ways to support students in our classrooms and across the school
