All year I read/curate books for our Mock Newbery. There are so many outstanding books in our collection, but I can’t say enough about “The Lost Year” by Katherine Marsh. This survival story of the 1932 Ukrainian famine is so Newbery worthy! You have my vote! Sherwood Archers
