We've woken up to the terrible news of the untimely passing of our brother Jakaana Nadduli. The family says he was found dead at his home, a few days after he was released from prison. I spoke to him Saturday and he sounded fine. Terrible news. Inna lillahi wa inallah-e-raji'oon

When we were gruesomely tortured in 2018, Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) received & sat on our complaints about the same. To date, you're still 'processing' them. When regime thugs abducted Jakana, you coiled your tail and feigned ignorance of his plight. Now you're here mouthing 'human rights'.

Very grateful to our Members of Parliament for their contribution of 34 million shillings towards our ongoing effort to repatriate Ugandans stuck in the Middle East. As of today, we have assisted 72 Ugandans to return home. This contribution is indeed a great boost to the cause.

We sent to Dubai a delegation led by National Unity Platform Secretary General to coordinate the repatriation of detained Ugandans back home. Today alone, 60 of them have returned home. 18 more will arrive soon, putting the total number we have so far repatriated at 153.

I don't know what's happening to our brother Kavuma Jamushid right now ever since he was abducted 8 days ago. He joins hundreds of our people who have been abducted and are still missing. Reminds us of what we must do to free our country from a brutal military regime!

Today is a very dark day. Words cannot describe this loss. Mzee Paul Kawanga Ssemwogerere stands tall amongst the giants of history. May his legacy live forever.
