The Patriots run defense has been stout all season long. Vrabel is going to blitz 5 and force Stidham to make a quick decision. If I’m Denver, I’m calling screens and short routes exclusively on early downs to help the backup find a rhythm.

IF the Patriots make it past the Broncos, they have a serious first half offense problem to solve. That’s three games in a row now where their first half offense has kept their opponents in the game (that won’t work against the Rams or Seahawks)

The Grizzlies blowup was inevitable but still... Jaren Jackson Jr to the Jazz will expedite their rebuild timeline, lots of pressure on the development of Keyonte and the health of Kessler. Grizzlies are really banking on those firsts and progression from Clayton and Hendricks.

We knew this was coming…but I don’t get it from either side. James Harden is 36 years old and needs an extension Darius Garland at his peak is an All-Star level point guard, but injuries would make me weary Upside favors the Clippers but an overall head scratcher all around

Maybe the biggest shock of the trade deadline?? Anthony Davis and Trae Young is an interesting duo but if Sarr, George, Johnson and whoever they pick in this year’s draft develop to their peak, then the Wizards might be back again (but then again, it’s the Wizards so who knows)

Considering that Luka Doncic was essentially traded straight up for Anthony Davis one year ago, the trade package Dallas got back looks underwhelming (but, understandable) The Mavericks really couldn’t do better than this package of salary filler and some draft capital.

The Thunder get stronger at the guard position…it’s almost unfair at this point. McCain has been underwhelming in year 2 but it never helped that he was clearly the odd man out in the Maxey-Edgecombe duo. He now gets a fresh start in the best place possible.

I guess that’s the Raptors answer at center… At this point, just keep the current lineup how it is and use TJD only in “We need rebounds ” situations And, after this + the Kuminga news, are we getting a Warriors fire sale??

Breaking: The NBA's Board of Governors has approved a vote for the league to explore bids and applicants for expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, sources tell ESPN. A bidding process is expected to generate offers in the $7-10 billion range for each team.

Sources: North Carolina intends to hire longtime NBA coach Michael Malone as the school’s next basketball coach. He’s an NBA Championship coach with the Denver Nuggets from the 2022-23 season and has won 510 games as an NBA head coach.

Brandon Ingram is 1-10 in a nearly must-win playoff game and Darko keeps him in. There’s no reason why he deserves more than 8 shots in a game.

Brandon Ingram is 5-22 in a nearly must-win game. Raptors had many chances to capitalize on Cavaliers’ mistakes, but now, this game feels nearly out of reach.

Raptors grind out a tough, physical game in Toronto. Maybe one of the ugliest games I’ve seen in some time, but the Raptors showed fight in difficult moments. Scottie and CMB were, as always, brilliant.

The Knicks NEED to keep attacking the paint. KAT, OG, Brunson cannot afford to settle in crunch time as Maxey and Edgecombe heat up. Game is winnable for both sides…

Julian Zona (@julianzona_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Brunson is easily one of the five or so guys in the NBA who you have total confidence in during the 4th quarter. He never fails to perform in the clutch.

Julian Zona (@julianzona_) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This was a championship level performance from the Knicks. A dominant 4th quarter highlighted by suffocating defense in the final 12 minutes helps New York secure a 2-0 series lead.

The three teams who desperately need a lucky bounce at the NBA Draft Lottery: Nets, Kings and Bulls. Each of these teams have young guys who have shown flashes of being in a long-term future, but this year’s top 4 projected players have the potential to be franchise cornerstones

The Utah Jazz getting the first overall pick and AJ Dybantsa to pair alongside JJJ, Markkanen and George would make them an instant playoff team in the West.

Maybe the biggest winner of the NBA Draft Lottery is Memphis. The Grizzlies will draft with either Dybansta, Peterson, Boozer or Wilson while continuing to develop Zach Edey, Jaylen Wells and Cedric Coward (also five!! first round picks in the next two years).
