Politico's energy newsletter is paid for by ExxonMobil, its defense letter by Northropp Grumman, its pharma coverage by CVS Health and its tax section by a very shady finance company that keeps ripping off its customers. Corporate propaganda masquerading as journalism.

This is my son’s experience of kindergarten for the last 11 1/2 months. Needless to say, pretty joyless. Definitely no love of learning being instilled. Or learning for that matter. He gets this for exactly 2 half hour sessions a day. I’m glad it’s not more.

Journalism that challenges power comes with risks. Journalists who investigate, who go on the ground—who go to dangerous areas—should be supported, not condemned. This isn't "spectacle." Often the best reporting isn't what earns accolades but rather receives censorship.

Here is what Public Health did: The disease threat was real, but seemed exaggerated particularly for young healthy people. The vaccine benefits were wildly exaggerated. Any interest in vaccine alternatives was ridiculed. Any attempt to find the origin was demonized as racism.
