📢Track and Field Bears! 🐻 Due to smoky conditions, practice scheduled for Wednesday June 7 has been cancelled.

🗣️ This morning we had the opportunity to visit St. Joan of Arc with some of our Grade Eight students for transition visits to Secondary School. Thank you Mr. Primier for organizing our visit and all the staff who made our Bears feel so welcomed in their classes.

Our Track And Field Team had an awesome day today at our Family Meet. You have made your coaches so proud. Congratulations to all of our competitors and to the many who have advanced to our Board Meet. Well done 🐻 Bears 🐻.

Gr.6 Group Task. Create a structure w/o speaking. S had to use other means of communication. At the end, S learned that the goal wasn’t the structure but rather how they worked together to overcome challenges when working with others. It led to a rich conversation about RESPECT.

Looking forward to meeting the families of the students I serve at our Open House on Thurs from 4:30-6:30. Together, we can make big impact on your child’s growth & development. I can’t wait to have you in our classroom & show you the wonderful things we have been doing.

🐻Today we gathered to give thanks for all of God’s blessings, and to give to ShareLife. Thank you to Mrs. Antezza for organizing and for all of our Bear’s staff who brought tasty treats for all to enjoy.

This is J and J’s first time celebrating Halloween and first time pumpkin carving. They were both laughing and disgusted. It provoked lots of questions about our Canadian traditions. I can’t wait to give them a great time tomorrow at our Halloween Party🎃👻

These are the faces I get to see each day. The shrieks of excitement each time a bird landed on them, brought me so much joy. What an awesome trip to The Riverwood Conservancy 🍁 We learned so much and were in awe of the biodiversity and beauty that surrounded us.

Open ended math tasks allow all students an entry point into learning. Today students couldn’t wait to go from one station to the next in our Math Mission Possible. Lots of learning while I was able to circulate and help students in a low risk setting. #WeAreMathmaticians
