Yesterday I experienced my first DNF at the #WhiteRiver50 miler. I ran a pretty solid 17 miles and then decided to flop on the trail and bang up both knees, my left shoulder, and my head. I’m fine. Second guessing quitting now that I’ve fully assessed the damage. I’ll be back.

Yesterday I ran the Olympic Mountains 50M. Super tough race with 14k vertical feet. Apparently that equates to 102k steps and 1112 floors. 😂 Happy to rebound from my DNF at White River and finish strong in this one.

I’ll admit, I never thought I’d be fast enough to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I’m setting my sights on a sub-3 hour time, and a personal record in April. #LFG #running

I wonder if Sonos has a site reliability team or anything like that? The service has degraded to the point where it’s frequently unusable and I’m hearing this from plenty of others too.

I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in running this year, but I’m still moving.

Trail running is amazing because of the community and it exists because of RD’s and volunteers that bust their asses to build amazing events. I look forward to making it up to some Coast Mtn Trail Running races in the future.
