The #Flames are right where I want (and frankly, expected) them to be. But that’s not enough. They’re in a rebuild but refuse to admit it. Tough decisions need to be made on who to move on from, and young players need to be given free rein to learn and develop at the NHL level.

I’m convinced that Jay Dubs is actually Murray Edwards. There’s no changing my mind on that. Murray himself could come up to me and show me his profiles and I’d be like, “Nope, not buying it.” Kind of like how those two act about the #Flames needing to rebuild, ironically.

The #Flames don’t make sense to me. They treat it like a business when it comes to the bottom line, but not the on-ice product. Forget culture. Culture doesn’t win hockey games. Skilled players and good coaching do. The Flames are lacking both. Time to address that.

Remember #Flames fans: Don Maloney is a mouthpiece (and a very active one right now). This all comes down from Murray Edwards though. We deserve a better owner who has legitimate vision.
