This reductive view of politics is so tedious. You can dislike Cheney personally and think the Bush admin's policies, especially the Iraq war, were catastrophic, and also think its better to have Cheney endorse Harris than Trump. That doesn't make you a "Dick Cheney fan"

I have worked for two Presidents, briefed two Presidents. We don’t want a President sitting in the Oval Office who wouldn’t demand exactly this. It’s literally your job to be prepared for it.
