To the administrators at Columbia University and beyond, here are our demands: stop the double talk, and start acting. Discipline harassers. Restore civility on this campus. Encourage peaceful, constructive, civil dialogue.

My colleagues and I will always stand up to hate on our campuses.

Jewish students on Columbia University’s campus are being targeted and harassed. And, we won’t stand for it.

Today, Rep. Dan Goldman, Congressman Jared Moskowitz, Congresswoman Kathy Manning, and I visited Columbia and called on them to take stronger action to protect Jewish students on campus.

After touring Columbia with Jewish students today, I'm deeply disturbed by what I saw and heard.

They feel unsafe and scared, which is simply unacceptable.

Columbia must not just reiterate its policies but take the necessary actions to ensure the safety of its Jewish students.

I have fought to ensure unaccompanied migrant children aren’t forced to navigate our immigration system alone.

Yesterday, Rs attempted to eliminate unaccompanied minors' legal counsel.

It doesn’t secure our border to send a 5-year-old to court with no lawyer. It’s just cruel.

The Columbine school shooting should have been a call to action to limit firearm access and save our children’s lives.

25 years later, school shootings are still tragically all too common.

We must keep our children safe. We must pass gun safety legislation now.

Today is a great day for democracy. Through D’s determination, the House passed essential aid for our democratic allies in Ukraine, Israel, & Taiwan while ensuring critical humanitarian aid for Gaza.

Dictators & terrorists take note-America is the worldwide beacon of democracy.

Kids are uniquely vulnerable to falling through cracks in our immigration system–they shouldn't face it alone.

Congresswoman Hillary Scholten & I introduced the Children’s Court Act with @SupportKIND to ensure children in our immigration system have the care and legal representation they deserve.

Ukraine has withstood Putin’s illegal invasion for two years, but they are simply out of ammunition and on the verge of collapsing.

Rs put politics over people & refuse to solve border issues for political purposes.

Sec Mayorkas & the Senate negotiated a bipartisan bill to address their concerns but Trump ordered House Rs to “kill” it so he can run on it.

Dems want to solve problems–Rs want to create chaos.

The cost of childcare for NYC families is $15-20k a year, simply out of reach for too many families.

Affordable childcare is good for families, kids, and the economy. Robust investment in this vital public good is critical to ensuring that NYers have the resources to thrive.

We are pressing the U.S. FDA for clear answers on what they will do to prevent lead contamination in food and ensure the safety of our kids' meals.

Kids should never be served lead-tainted applesauce or Lunchables. We demand accountability and safety now.

Perhaps Rep. Jim Jordan should look at the data before doing his usual fact-less disinformation, because crime is down significantly in Alvin Bragg’s Manhattan.

The GOP can try to politicize this trial as much as they want, but it won’t work in court.

The GOP repeatedly and misleadingly stokes fear about immigrants being public safety risks.

But the facts don't lie – they're 68% less likely to commit crimes than those born here.

We don’t need fear mongering. We need real reforms to make our immigration system more efficient.
