Antiaromatic #COFs based on Dibenzopentalenes, out in John Callahan. Many synthetic challenges of these reactive building blocks solved by Josefine Josefine Sprachmann and Tommy Wachsmuth. We report an unusual fourfold Au(I)–aryl macrocycle and formed a large nanoring host. Typically, only triangular macrocycles were reported. The host binds fullerenes/CPPs flexibly. By Niklas @grabizki & Sergey Fisher . Out in Angewandte Chemie: ➡️ tinyurl.com/Au4-cycle
