Remembering my old mentor today on his bday. A Mr Miyagi figure to me when I was a young confused teen. A shitty rendition of Saifa, a form he taught me and won gold with at the ‘94 Jr Olympics and silver in kumite when I was 14. Happy bday, Shihan! I miss you like fucking crazy
