Half of me thinks that effort from Spurs is quite impressive considering the fight their team have shown lately, but half of me is old enough to remember their erm… previous home league game in which they’d said it needed a ‘big atmosphere’ before it emptied at half time.

I am still a firm believer that the team is better with Havertz in it but that miss after five minutes is so big. You can’t waste chances like that in a cup final, especially when your team aren’t going to make the opposition goalie make a save for the rest of it. Not good.

If we were holding the ball with the keeper to draw them off, they didnt buy it, so when the keeper kicked it long we have to win the first ball and at least hold it up for the 2nd ball, we did neither. Tactics were terrible.

Amen. The league is bigger (and obviously imperative we get it over the line now) and the quad bs was always just that: media fuelled rubbish. We’re not good enough to win four comps - just got to make sure we are good enough to win one of the biggest two. End of.

It’s rife already 😂 seeing some incredible things about a team (minus their GK, best RB and two best attacking mids) who’ve lost as many games this season as Chelsea have since 11th March. Today is very annoying but as long as we learn from it, it’s not the end of the world.
