This is not a drill. He’s pledging it loudly and proudly. If you’re still voting for Trump after all of this, be clear: you’re voting for fascism and the end of American democracy as we know it. That’s not hyperbole - that’s simply paying attention to his own promises and plans:

I want to say something to the people with mental health conditions that have got in touch with me worried / panicked about the govt news on possible benefits changes... NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

- The govt has put out a green paper. That is an EARLY STAGE consultation document.

I really don't get the value added to the debate by journos who repeat, in this case almost verbatim, the CCHQ talking points we JUST heard from the Tory MP. I get the value for her and the gov't: she's auditioning and they're astroturfing. But for viewers the impact is negative.

Horrified by what I’m seeing in Georgia, where Kremlin-backed stooges are trying to undermine democracy and Georgian people’s dreams of joining the EU and NATO. All pretense has been dropped by the Georgian Dream led govt, that it is anything but a power mad pro-Russian proxy

Wow.

In Athens, Greek students gather in front of the US embassy, protesting for a free Palestine and joining in solidarity with American students.

“Solidarity with the University students in the US!

No to the genocide in Gaza!

Free Palestine!” 🇵🇸🔥

as everyone knows, the one rule of journalism is that if you tell yourself you'll quickly file something then you'll end up having the worst writer's block of your life, but if you set a whole day aside for a big piece of writing you'll be the most productive you've ever been

The worst outcome for the Tories: a result which lets them kid themselves about what's coming at the general election.
