Remember, over the festive period, when GP surgeries, pharmacists and dentists are closed, and you are too ill to wait, please contact NHS 24 on 111 first. A healthcare professional will provide advice, arrange an appointment at an out of hours centre or arrange a home visit.

Today I celebrate 40 years’ service with NHS Fife, all spent in primary care, working with independent contractors. What a privilege it has been.

As we move beyond level 0, we must remember that COVID-19 has not gone away. Hospitals, GP surgeries and dentists are among the locations which will continue to observe the current two metre distancing requirement to help control the spread of the virus.
