For decades, young people transitioning out of foster care have led the charge in informing policies that impact their lives. This week older foster youth from Indiana, along with Foster Success and peers from across the country with the Journey to Success Campaign will continue work!

Met w current and former foster youth from Iowa. We discussed the Chafee program which provides support to foster youth aging out of the foster care system

Day One on the Hill with Foster Success and Journey to Success Campaign included conversations Indiana’s members of Congress and staff focused on ways we can improve support for older foster youth-including expanding support until 26 and building peer support systems.
