At the Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago today, Ways and Means Committee is hearing directly on the dignity of work.

Fundamentally, work provides income and greatly reduces the chances of living in poverty.

But it also provides much more.

No amount of government assistance can replace the life-changing impact work has on individuals, families, and their communities.
