I’m so very proud of my current and former colleagues for the collective hard work that has gone into this. Unionising should be a basic step. Work isn’t just changing things ‘out there’, it starts with changing ourselves.

Dartmoor is the only place in England & Wales where you can legally wild camp. But now a wealthy landowner is trying to take that right away! This past weekend, a group of us went wild camping on his Dartmoor estate in protest... Right to Roam theguardian.com/environment/20…

This. And it’s not often I quote William Hague but “we are biological creatures that need a thriving ecosystem around us, not gods who can dispense with it if we wish.”

This is a heart breaking announcement. Years in the making, finally private renters had been given hope that their security was valued. Just last week the guardian reported that no fault evictions had doubled to 20,000 last year, action is needed now!

Having been back on Twitter for a few days after a long break, this summary of everything going on right now seems pretty accurate to me

This situation is dire. For a long time I have been trying to get across that the biodiversity and ecological crisis is even more serious than the climate crisis on its own. What's more, it won't be fixed by climate solutions. theguardian.com/environment/20… 1/🧵

Over the last year we've been exploring what a universal basic income could mean for people's health and wellbeing, and the findings are pretty big! Grab your tickets below and join us at The RSA House next week to hear more! thersa.org/events/2022/10…

It was so brilliant being involved in this #Designforplanet Fellowship. Listen out for more over the coming weeks sharing the discussions we had.

Hats off once again to my wonderful former colleagues and new The RSA staff who are showing endless patience and tenacity in their union work. Progressive orgs should be judged by how they act not just what they say.

Full support to my former colleagues. The RSA was always a fast-paced and challenging place to work but I loved it for nearly 8 years. It’s been devastating to see and hear how staff are being treated now and how badly the org is being let down by both management and trustees.
