You can tell summer is coming by the shift in supplies that we run out of on a regular basis. Either that or Embry Call is sneaking swallows of Malibu rum behind the bar.

-Glances down the bar at @SeattleWillow flirting with Quil Ateara and shakes his head. Tries not to pay attention but mutters.- Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me...

Apparently Quil Ateara left town for some trip with the guys. Don’t say I didn’t warn you @SeattleWillow. You’re about to get hurt.

-Clears his throat and smiles at Kate as she pulls away from the kiss and looks away, also smiling.- I didn’t really expect that.

-Explains to Kate that @SeattleWillow has what she wants and that he is over her and her obsession with Quil Ateara.- Trust me. That ship has sailed.

How’s everybody doing?

-Wakes on top of his bed, still in his clothes, untucked and half off on his hotel bed. Groans at the throbbing in his head that the sun is only making worse.- FML

-Shuffles to the bathroom, pieces of last night coming back in flashes. Checks out his bruised jaw in the mirror and tries to remember where he was and what happened, barely recalling picking a fight.-

-Makes a cup of coffee and checks the time on his cell. Finds 6 missed calls and multiple texts from Kate asking where he is and if he is okay.- Shit. I called her? -Tries to remember.-

-Walks down to the breakfast buffet, looking disheveled and tired but feeling rested this morning. Pours some juice, skips the Champaign this morning and fills his plate.-

-Calls work from his hotel phone to check on things. Waits for someone to pick up.- Please don’t be @SeattleWillow ....

I got home from Jamaica today and went straight to Kate’s house to see my dog. Damn, I missed that stupid mutt down there.

Anyway, I came here to get the dog and started talking and venting and I’m still here. I need to get home and unpack so I can go to work tomorrow.

-Runs up the street along with his dog to keep his head clear and forget the ridiculous week. Remembers the stack of work waiting for him and groans. Runs faster.-

-Knocks once on @SeattleWillow’s office door. Immediately shoves his hands in his pockets.-

It’s been so damn busy at work since Easter it feels like a month ago.

-Takes the leash and the dog from Kate’s apartment. Locks up on his way out.- Come on boy. Let’s run and I’ll buy us both a burger after we’re done.

I said I’d never do this but I guess that’s why they say “never say never”. -Talks with the blind date his brothers fiancé set him up with.-

+Takes the least in one hand and a beer in the other, walking with Kate through the marina.+ Don’t set me up again.

+Looks over and sees @SeattleWillow making another to-go cup of coffee for the guy who has been in way too much lately.+ {She’s seeing THAT guy? She doesn’t even know him.}
