Been following this journey. Each step has mirrored the debacle I had with an ER visit for my then 1-year-old son. When I got to this part--having a "revenue cycle management" company and then "experts" consider the bill justified--I finally gave up and gave in.

Random thought: Why are creation and consumption so disproportionate? Examples: Hours to prepare a meal; consumed in a few minutes. Months-even years-to write a book; read in a few hours. My take: Personal enrichment comes from creating something worth consuming.

We need to focus more on solutions instead of problems with the health care system. Not just pointing out problems but using data and evidence to make changes #ARM24
