Anyone notice massive YouTube view declines? I’m seeing big channels across multiple niches getting 1/4 the views on latest uploads

What do you think is the next YouTube meta? Youtube is massive, but currently it seems minecraft/fortnite/roblox, drama/commentary, challenges, and docus are dominating. These seem to be getting stale tho, so what's the future?

The beauty of YouTube is you don't need high cost or high effort production to succeed. You just need great execution on the right idea. But if you aren't putting a ton of resources into market research in 2025, you're going to get left behind.

Just saw an offer of $15/hr for a YouTube strategist. Sir, this isn't a Wendy's. $30/hr would be bare minimum for a full-time average strategist. An elite strategist is $100-$500/hr and the gap between average and elite is EXTREMELY WIDE.

I love how YouTube can make us all look foolish. Horrible looking illegible thumbnail, strange too long title....and yet it's views are 10X the sub count. Don't be fooled. There are NO RULES to YT. Understand YOUR niche market and ignore 99% of generic advice.

In YouTube analytics, VIEWS are the ONLY metric you can trust in isolation. Even then, when reviewing other channels always check for botted views.

YouTube has become a serious industry. If you want to compete at our level, this isn't going to cut it.
