Our pupils hugely enjoyed the session and meeting Scotland’s Minister for the Environment, Biodiversity & Land Reform Màiri McAllan , Joseph Gregory Rossano and the scientists involved in #SalmonSchool.

With #COP26 starting today, we’re going to post a little about the work we’ve been doing during the ‘migration’ phase of Joseph Gregory Rossano’s #SalmonSchool project. In late June, we were invited by Missing Salmon Alliance to deliver a workshop for schools along the #Clyde. Time was tight!

When we identified our 26 partner schools and the #SalmonSchool workshop content, how would the children record their learning? Along with the trees and invertebrates, we were able to compare our ‘analogue’ electrofishing data with the ‘digital’ equivalent from eDNA samples (thanks to @bilsby1970 for that observation!). There’s a blank page to allow just that. #SalmonSchool
