EASSI is participating in a two-day Convening on CSOs Movement Building and Strategy to End FGM in Africa, taking place in Pretoria, South Africa. FGM remains one of the most prevalent harmful practices, deeply impacting lives of young women and girls.

According to Food and Agriculture Organization women make up to 43% of the workforce in the fishery industry. Today, EASSI participated in a dialogue organised by #KilimoTrust@20 to address key issues affecting women and youth in the business while fostering inclusion to market access.
