Not going to lie I'm happy Chicago Bears got some much-needed D-Line help, especially with a weak edge class in 2024. I would have selfishly liked to have seen this be Chase Young. If you're going to swing for the fences why not go after the upside.

If you don't think the Chicago Bears will trade Justin Fields, just remember they moved Roquan Smith. A locker room and city favorite. A top 2-3 player at his position. I wouldn't be shocked if they move on from Fields in favor of Williams.

The more I listen to interviews with Caleb Williams the more I like him and less I believe the narrative of him having character issues. Seems like a very hard working, smart, and dynamic player. Look beyond the tape people... don't believe everything said on social media.

Being conservative with money (to sign Fields) is just another sign that it seems to be the direction they're heading. I think the entire org. loves Fields. He's proves he can win games and they would get significant return for the 1st pick.

I have a hard time believing that the Bears haven't made their mind up about Caleb/Fields. They've been scouting him for years now and I would be surprised if they whole thing is coming down to his pro day (a dog and pony show.). #ChicagoBears #NFLDraft2024

Think it's becoming more obvious that the lack of aggression to sign an edge and WR in FA is pointing to the Chicago Bears drafting those positions. Likely trading out of 1 and accumulating picks to fill the remaining holes in the roster.
