Part of serving the People is passing bills that are appropriate for the Bloxburg community. Unless you're only trying to break the record, there should be no reason to flood the Senate channel with ineffective and unenforceable laws.

For so long, Americans have not gotten a democratic say in what happens to vacant offices. Which is why, today, I am proud to introduce the Special Elections Act, which, if enacted, will establish special elections.

A complete repeal of the 3rd Public Servant Act would do the opposite of what Americans want. If this is passed, we'll default to the 1st Public Servant Act, which is more aggressive. So if this reaches the Senate, I'm voting NO on H.R.33004! Thank you for your attention.

For years, Congress has been passing laws without an adequate plan for tracking those laws (and ensuring they're enforced). A Trello board was once created in this absence, yet it is no longer used and had no real duty other than preserving unabridged laws (1/3).

We're in the 33rd Congress. We've accumulated so many bills and resolutions that it is hard to keep track of and enforce them properly. We need a new system (2/3).

I have told Senator Whitmore many times how stupid it was for me to go along with his plan. I wasn't thinking in that moment, and now it is costing us more days of government inactivity. So I apologize to the American people, and I ask that a session be scheduled tonight.

Because it is not just the budget that needs to be passed, but also the other five nominations that must be confirmed for an active government. Once again, I apologize for my behavior, and I hope a session will be held tonight.

For anyone who did not catch it, Majority Leader Fisher says she will "probably" host a Senate session tomorrow as she is currently "busy." I hope she's right because she's doing it for the American people. I hope tomorrow the shutdown ends and that the nominees are confirmed.

Over half the cabinet members did not send us their progress reports. That is why I will be filing multiple subpoenas to the members who unlawfully broke the Progress Reports Act. Government accountability must happen. I hope my CSP colleagues will follow my lead.

Senator Fisher's App Database Act needs revisions. That is why I will be working hard with her to fix the language, add clarity, and make the law more enforceable. I'm glad for the first time that Senate committees actually do their job and revise bills.
